The Country & Western version of Coachella has come and gone with a huge contingent of Cowgirls in bikinis and shirtless Cowboys heading home to resume their every day lives. The two day festival which takes over the Empire Polo Fields (host of Coachella 2 weeks Prior) appears to have had a larger crowd over last year.

This year’s festival once again brought a great mix of today’s hottest stars as well as some legends and mixed in some great new talent.

Day one of the festival saw headliner Kenny Chesney once again rocking the Toyota Mane stage as the headliner.  Another repeat performer was Darius Rucker who brought his A-game, rocking t

While standout newer artists Lukas Nelson (son of the legendary Willie Nelson) and the Secret Sisters took over the Palomino Stage on Day one. The Palomino Stage was home to some of the legends of Country Music  including Mel Tillis and Kris Kristofferson.

Day two of the festival saw the heat increase along with the amount of attendees. The lineup for the second day was stellar with Carrie Underwood playing the warm up role to Rascal Flatts on the Mane Stage, however it was Underwood who was a definite favorite at the event. The Palmonio stage once again saw legends KD Lang and Leon Russell in the evening, but the standout was the opening band of the day Truth & Salvage, Co. This all male group brought some amazing harmonies to the tent and kept the crowd entertained the entire set.

If you haven’t been out to Stagecoach yet, you should really put it on your calendar for next year. Even if you are not a die-hard Country Music fan, it is still one hell of good time with some great music.
