Only 9 months removed from their last trip through the Downtown Disney venue, FILTER returned to the House of Blues Anaheim on Sunday July 13th—bringing along Helmet and Local H on what has been dubbed the Anti-Folk Revival in Drop-D tour.

Mixing in new material off the 2013 release The Sun Comes Out Tonight along with venerable hits off their biggest albums Short Bus & Title Of Record’, front man Richard Patrick screamed through hit after hit. All the usual classics were represented including ‘Take A Picture’, ‘Welcome To The Fold’ & ‘The Best Things’.

Helmet brought their patented heavy sound and played a solid 35 minute set that disappointed the crowd with the omission of their only big radio hit ‘Unsung’. Before them Local H brought with them their huge single from way back in 1996 ‘Bound For The Floor’ as well as a cover of Lorde’s ‘Team’.

This collection of bands is touring through the end of August, more dates can be found by checking out the Filter tour page:
