In celebration of their 8th studio album, Gore, released on Friday April 8, Sacramento alternative rockers Deftones played a six song set at Amoeba Music in Hollywood on Monday evening April 11. Over 600 people received wristbands and waited in line to get into this one-off intimate event.

The Chino Moreno led band along with Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Abe Cunningham (drums), Frank Delgado (Keys) and Sergio Vega (bass) played three songs off of Gore; “Prayers/Triangles”, “Hearts/Wires” and “Rubicon” along with three older songs. Moreno didn’t talk much in between songs, the band took the small stage rocked Amoeba like nobody has before and left the stage. Those in attendance were packed in between all the record/CD bins and headbanged and raised their fists in unison as the band delivered their raw and emotional music.

Gore is available now at your favorite record store or online music destination.
