On February 13, Bring Me The Horizon brought the First Love tour to The Forum in Los Angeles, with Fever 333 and Thrice opening up the pre-Valentine’s Day festivities. Out in support of their January 25 release amo which has caused quite a stir with some fans for its synthesizer-techno-dance-pop sound but the band treated those fans who are into the album with six songs off the new CD which went over well in a live setting.

Bring Me The Horizon exploded onto the much-taller-than-normal stage in a flurry of confetti and fog. From the moment they appeared, the audience was in a frenzy, singing along to each song as they opened with two new songs “I Apologize if you Feel Something” and “Mantra”.

The band ended the main set with an acoustic version of “Drown”, with only vocalist Oli Sykes and guitarist Lee Malia onstage with help from the fans in delivering most of the song.

Sykes had the Forum crowd in the palm of his hands throughout the night especially during the encore where things got heavy for the old-school fans with “Comedown” and “Diamonds Aren’t Forever”. The night ended with 2015’s “Throne” off the That’s the Spirit album.
