As the Blue Ridge Rock Fest kicked off its 2nd day, fans were still working their way into the venue. While the parking situation improved slightly, things still were less than ideal. After sitting in traffic for an hour and about to miss the first band, I ended up paying the guys at the corner salvage yard “Heavy Metal” $120 to park in their field, then jogged the last 1/2 mile into the venue to try and not miss any of the bands.
Day 2 highlights for me were Anthrax, Fever 333, Clutch, and Stitched Up Heart (Which should have been playing later in the day).
