Tate McRae put on an explosive sold-out show at The Basement East in Nashville on 04/07/2022. McRae told the sold-out crowd that she was thrilled to be playing in a smaller more personal venue especially East Nashville’s renowned Basement East. McRae definitely crushed this night’s show performing 15 songs that covered her music’s best works. The crowed went crazy when she played “One Day” and of course they were ecstatic over “Feel Like Shit” the lead song from her soon to be released album I Used to Think I Could Fly.
Mimi Webb was the opening artist and was a perfect match for the fans and totally added to an outstanding night of music. Webb moved from one end of the stage to the other singing her songs and engaged the fans the entire time while performing a high energy 8 song set including her most popular pieces including “Dumb Love” and “24/5” that went Gold and Silver in the UK and Australia. Webb closed out the set with her 2020 BPI Platinum award winning song “Good Without” that the packed, standing room only, crowd loved.
Mimi Webb was born and raised in Canterbury England and began writing her own songs at age 13. She was influenced by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Emeli Sandé, Adele, Louis Armstrong, and Nat King Cole. At 16, she moved to Brighton, South of London, to attend Brighton Music College. In 2018, Webb and her manager went to Los Angeles and meet with record labels. Within a few months, she signed with Epic Records were she began to work on several songs that would top the charts. In 2020, Webb release her debut single “Before I Go” that had over 85 million views on TikTok and 35 million streams on Spotify. “Good Without” was released in June of 2021 and rose to number 8 on the UK Singles Chart. Webb’s newest single “House on Fire” is available on many platforms.
Tate McRae is a singer and dancer from Canada, who at age thirteen was the first Canadian finalist on the popular dance TV show “So You Think You Can Dance”. For several years she gained popularity as a dancer through live performances and on her YouTube channel. In 2017 Tate added a music side to her channel called “Create With Tate” where she sang and recorded original songs from her bedroom. “One Day”, a song she wrote at age 14, immediately soared going viral on Youtube with over 37 million views.
In 2019 Tate signed a recording deal with RCA Records since they agreed to let her combine her outstanding dance abilities with those wonderful vocals and song writing skills she has. In 2020 Tate’s debut EP “All the Things I Never Said” was released, and in 2021 she released her next EP “Too Young to Be Sad”, which was the top streaming female artist EP of 2021 on Spotify.
